Terms of use

• You must be 18 or older.
• You may create one profile, for yourself, with your own photos and true details.
• Beles is built for the Tigrayan community and people close to it. Be honest about who you are.

• Treat people the way you would at a family gathering. Everyone here knows someone you know.
• No harassment, hate speech, threats, or sexual content sent without consent.
• No scams, money requests, or advertising.
• No sharing of other members' photos, messages or details outside Beles.
• Respect a "no". If someone stops replying, let it be.

A Shmagele note must come from a real person who knows you and confirms it themselves. Writing your own voucher, or having a stranger write one, removes it and may remove your profile.

Anyone can report a profile or conversation. Moderators may flag, pause or remove a profile, and may read the conversation involved in a report. Decisions are logged. If you think a decision was wrong, reply to the notice you received and a different moderator will look.

You own what you write and upload. You give Beles permission to show it to other members as the app is designed to, and nothing more. Delete your account and it goes with you.

Beles is offered as it is, free while it grows. We do not promise matches, and we are not responsible for what happens between members outside the app. Meet in public places the first time, tell someone where you are going, and trust your instincts.

You can leave at any time from your profile page. We can remove a profile that breaks these terms, with or without notice depending on how serious it is.
